Timmy Turner is your average 10-year old boy, sort of. At school, he's bullied. At home, he's got parents who love him but who are oblivious to most everything. What makes things different in the Turner household are Cosmo and Wanda, Timmy's two Fairy Godparents that no one except Timmy can ever know exist.

Unfortunately for Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda's magical skills are not up to par. Cosmo is a green-haired fairy who lives by the adage "Fun first. Ask questions later." Wanda is the pink-haired voice of reason, but compared to Cosmo, that's not saying much. As Timmy's Fairy Godparents, they must grant whatever Timmy wishes, but sometimes they take things too literally or misunderstand Timmy's wish making for hilarious consequences.
